Transcripts

“How are transcripts transferred?”

When you apply you will complete the “Permission to Release Student Records” form. Legally secondary schools are required to transfer transcripts from one school to another. That is families can not be a part of the delivery of official transcripts.

Once you complete the “Permission to Release Student Records” form New River Academy administration will take care of the rest.

What about courses transferring? Equivalent courses are accepted by accredited secondary schools. For example, biology transfers for biology and calculus transfers for calculus. If you have a unique course that NRA does not offer, then NRA will include that course on your NRA transcript but it may or may not qualify for graduation requirements.

Transferrring your transcript to your college(s) of choice.

NRA administration will submit your transcript to your college(s) of choice at your request. NRA transcripts are accepted by all colleges and universities. A full semester must be completed in order for NRA to transfer a transcript.
