This year we are inviting families to go ahead and give to New River Academy in other ways. Our team has the best interest of your student and now you can help enhance the education and life experience our mission clearly states by Donating a Gift to NRA. Your gift helps to provide a margin of excellence for which tuition alone simply does not provide. Past gifts have made a rich and dramatic impact on the experience and education your child is now receiving. As a team, let us continue this cycle of giving back to NRA.

Each Gift is tax deductible

All you have to do is attach our receipt and place your gift amount in the appropriate place on your tax papers.

The Gift will help provide vehicles, camping equipment, technology, kayaks,education material, scholarships and more!

WHY GIVE?

A gift to a qualified charitable organization may entitle you to a charitable contribution deduction against your income tax if you itemize deductions.

If the gifts are deductible, the actual cost of the donation is reduced by your tax savings. For example, if you are in the 33% tax bracket, the actual cost of a $100 donation is only $67 ($100 less the $33 tax savings). As your income tax bracket increases, the real cost of your charitable gift decreases, making contributions more attractive for those in higher brackets. The actual cost to a person in the lowest bracket, 15%, for a $100 contribution is $85. For a person in the highest bracket, 35%, the actual cost is only $65.

This is a gift of personal property that is charitably gifted to NRA. Past gifts have included vehicles, barbecues, tools, education and office materials,books, equipment. Gifts-in-kind must be properly appraised of fair market value of property through the donor’s efforts. Matching Gifts :

You may be able to double or even triple your donation with a matching gift from your employer and the gift will be credited to your giving club membership.There are thousands of companies that match gifts to independent schools.
